Meet the Team

Chris Easton

Becky Goheen, Hospital Manager

I originally joined the team at Poway Animal Hospital as a receptionist in 1990. After moving to Bend, Oregon for a year in 2011, I realized my home was in San Diego with my family at Poway Animal Hospital.

Chris Eaton, Office Manager

I started at Poway Animal Hospital in 2002. It has been such an amazing experience. Doctors, staff, clients, and patients are great to work with. I am a native of Poway. I am a very active with my family that is growing by the minute.

Jessica, Lead Technician Manager

I have been a member of the Poway Animal Hospital team since 2013. I was born and raised in San Diego and I have been in the veterinary field for over 15 years. I absolutely love caring for animals and I have five furry critters at home to keep me busy. In my free time I am an avid yoga practitioner and instructor and I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors.

I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician. I graduated from College of Southern Nevada, and I'm pleased to be part of the Poway Animal Hospital team.

I graduated San Diego Mesa Animal Health Technology Program in 2012. Working 6 days a week in this field, there is never really a dull day when you do what you love. I was born and raised in San Diego. I have a cat (Emmee), 2 leopard geckos and a freshwater fish tank.

I graduated from Poway High in 2012. I have two cats and two pugs that keep me very busy. Poway Animal Hospital has been a huge influence in my respect and love for animals. I am forever grateful for their willingness to further educate me on animal health and wellness. I am currently finishing up my transfer requiements at Mirama Community College.

I relocated to Southern California in August 2005. In 2006 I attended Pima Medical Institute where I graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program. I have been working in the veterinary field ever since. In my spare time, I love hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with my family, which includes my pug Jiro. I joined Poway Animal Hospital in June 2016. I am so happy to be a part of this amazing team.

I moved to San Diego in December of 2016. I started working at Poway Animal hospital in January of 2017. I love all animals! I have two fur babies of my own. In my free time I like to go hiking with my dogs or play volleyball.

I joined the team at Poway Animal Hospital in September 2017. I am thrilled to be working with such a knowledgeable and personable group of veterinary professionals. I love working with animals and look forward to learning more about veterinary care. I have 2 cats, a crazy Husky/German Shepherd puppy and 2 horses!

I joined the Poway Animal Hospital family in November of 2017.
Before coming here I was a Veterinary Assistant for 7 years. My passion for animals came at a young age of 12 years old, when my aunt gave me a miniature dachshund. I cared for her as my own and she quickly became my best friend. She lived to be about 18 years old and I learned what it meant to care for an animal to the best of my abilities. Later on in Life I decided that I wanted to help other people learn to care for their pets properly, so I went to Pima Medical Institute and received my certificate in veterinary assistance.
I enjoy what I do each day and I continue to strive to learn as much as I can on pet health care so I can spread my knowledge to others.

Veterinary Assistants

I joined the team in April of 2016 and am excited to continue learning about animal wellness. When not working at Poway Animal Hospital, I enjoy hiking and volunteering for the local animal shelters.

I came to Poway Animal Hospital in 2007. I'm normally hanging out in the reception area or in the doctor's office. I enjoy sitting in chairs or my bed up front I'm very friendly and enjoying meeting new clients when they come in. Hopefully I'll see you on your next visit.

I was found under a car with a very serious leg injury on June 17, 2010. I had been injured for 5 days. I was 8 weeks old, VERY hungry and VERY skinny. My heroes at Poway Animal Hospital could not save my leg but they saved my life. I have totally recovered now and live in a wonderful new home!
